Week 6

It was a bad week for losing weight and it´s going to be an even worst next week. But let me start at the beginning. I had a real good start last week. I had good workouts on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday I had the best workout in my hole program. 3 hours of cardio on the Treadmill. But on Thursday I started eating too much and do less workout. On Friday I went to Fibo 2009 which is a trade show for fitness and bodybuilding. I was eating way too much and finished it eating at Burger King. The weekend I had to work so I dind´t lose as much as I wanted too. Today I didn´t managed it to went to gym but tomorrow I will stop there for a short workout. This will be the only workout for this week because I am leaving for this week and will be back for the weekend on which I have to work. Let´s see how this week will work out. I would be more than happy if i could stay at my weight for this week. The week after this will be the next chance to workout a lot.

By the way, I saw Elvis at the Fibo 2009. Here is the picture. He was doing the Hoolahoop now I know why everyone was calling him the pelvis.

Week 5

I don´t wanted to step on the scale this morning, because I knew the weight it would show me is not the weight I wanted to be at this week. But in this losing weight project I have to pay for every mistake you make. This week I didn´t lose any weight but I have gained 1.7kg = 3.7 lbs and I am more than sure I didn´t gain any muscles at all this week. What went wrong and how can I fix it and most important never have such a bad week again.

1. The problem NR.1 was the food. I was eating like in the old days and the scale told me today that´s not a good way. It´s just not good to eat fast food and lot of sweet stuff. I even had 200g of chocolate so it´s more than OK that the scale let me pay for my sins.

2. The second problem was I nearly didn´t workout at all this week. The reasons were simple and I believed my own lies. I am to tiered, I don´t feel to good today ….. if you just tell yourself things like that often enough you will believe them in the and and so I just was once in the gym this week and didn´t make any kind of cardio at all.

Now there are two ways you could handle such a kickback. The bad way is to quit. But winners never quit. The other way is to say to yourself: OK I had a bad week. I wasn´t on my way but now I am back. I know what went wrong and I can make it better this week !!! So get up move your ass an let´s start workout again and watch what you are eating. You could be sure I am no quitter. Not this time !!! I am going to work hard on my goal !!! Let´s start the best week of my program till now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The original goal for this week was 141kg. I am still better than this goal. But this week I don´t want to lose just 1kg= 2.2 lbs this week I want to come back on track and want to see myself under 138kg. I know it´s going to be hard, but I know I am going to make it !!!

Week 4

Welcome everybody back at my losing weight program. This week I had a big BBQ at Friday and I was eating way too much, but it was a great party and so it was OK with me. I hoped not to gain some weight with this big party, but after a look at the scale this morning I was more than happy.  I have lost 0.4 kg = 0.88 lbs this week. The original gaol was 142kg for this week and as you can see I am at 138.9 kg. So far so good. The goal for next week is 141kg, but I am hitting for 137.0 kg . Let´s see how this week is going to be.

How was the last week ?

1. Last week has started pretty good. On Monday I had 120 min of cardio and didn´t eat really much. A pretty good start for a week. The total of training min are 310 min of cardio and 2 hours football training. Till now it was the best workout week of my program. The problem of this week was the BBQ and the 2 days after it. Too much food and no workout.

2. I got sick on sunday. I couldn´t hardly work on sunday and was more than tiered. Today I am pretty tiered too. Let´s go for a new week of workout and less food. LOL See you next week again.

Week 3

Welcome again on my trip to lose some weight. As you can see on the picture to the left this week was successful again. This week I have lost 2.2 kg = 4.8 lbs. I am more than happy to see 139.3 kg on my scale. The original goal was 143kg for today. the goal after last week was 140.5 kg and I had a personal goal of 139.9 kg. My result was better than all the 3 goals which is very motivating again. So what is the goal for this week? Well this week I would be more than happy to keep my weight under 140kg because there is going to be a big time BBQ at my house. Every year I have one big BBQ at my house and I really don´t want to miss it. I am also don´t want to eat just small servings. So this Friday is BBQ at my house.

Good and bad things about last week:

There were 225 min of cardio and 24km of biking this week which is really OK. I was 4 times in the gym and once I was biking outdoor. I think the workout this week was really good. How about the food this week. I have started the week with 2 really great days but on Wednesday I was eating too much of sushi. I had to work on the weekend so there was no workout possible on Saturday and Sunday.

I really want to know how this week is going to be. BBQ and losing weight normally don´t fit very well. Let´s see what I can do. I am going to stay below 140kg !!! See you next Monday.

Week 2

Good morning everyone and I can tell you it´s a great morning for me. The goal I had for this Monday was 144 kg and as you can see on my weekly photo the result is much better than that ! Right now I am at 141.5 kg !!! WOW I am so exited and motivated for this week I can´t even tell you how much. This means a lost of 3.3kg = 7,27 lbs this week. What are the reasons ? How did my week looks like ?

1. I went to gym 4 times this week and 3 times I had an good cardio workout for 1 hour. That means 3 hours of cardio this week. I don´t sit on the bike in the gym like others, i like the elliptical best for cardio workout.

2. I had 5 smileys this week. Write down how my workout looks every day and more important what I am eating every day. If I don´t eat too much I write down a smiley for that day. And even if I am eating a bit too much or the food is not the best for my project but on the other hand I did a great workout, I put a smiley on my day.

3. Things that I could do better this week: I had power bars on Monday and after that the pack was empty. I am not going to buy me another pack of power bars. I had 2 times fast food this week. Once I had 2 Big Mac and the other day 3 pieces of KFC. I think fast food is not a good way of losing weight, so I try not to visit these places anymore during my program.

That´s all for today. The goal for next week is 143kg but I have 141.5 kg already. I am not going to renew all the goals because the goal is to lose 1Kg per week, but I am not going to stop just because a good week. So the goal is still to lose 1kg a week so that would be 140.5 kg next Monday. I would like 139,9 much better. Let´s see what I can do.

The first week

The first week of my project is over and as you can see I´ve lost  1.2kg = 2.64 lbs. My goal is to lose 1kg = 2.2 lbs a week so the result is OK, but I also know the first week is always the easiest on so I have to work harder for the next week to reach my goal.

What have I changed this week?

Nr. 1 I have stopped eating chocolate and other sweet stuff. 2. Started to workout again. 3. Trying to drink more water and no more soda. I have changed drinking soda to drinking only diet soda a while ago, but I still believe water is the best choice. 4. I have started to write down what I am eating all day and how my workout is looking like.

Why I have lost just 1.2kg and not more ?

1. Power bars. I have done a big mistake buying myself a pack of Power bars. Sure they are better than other sweet bars, but it´s not good for me to keep them at home. It´s just to easy to take one and eat it right away. And 7 Power bars a day just ain´t good to lose some weight. I am going to be happy when this pack is empty so it´s much easier for me to cut that down.

2. Workout. Like everyone else I want it all and I want it fast. If you take a look at my workout you would think I try to gain some muscles and sure I want that. The problem is that muscles are heavier than fat. So I have to lose more fat than gaining muscles to lose some weight at the end of the week. Sure it would be easier just to lose weight but I just want some muscles to look good and to hit some guys out there on the football field.

3. Too much food. I still got the feeling I am eating too much. I am going to work at this point the next week most of them all.

So if I am going to work at all these 3 points I think I can reach my goal next week to. I hope you guys keep coming back to my site and support me a little at my big plan losing weight !!! See you !

A New Goal

Hello and welcome back everybody at thaguru.com. I know it´s a long long time since I wrote my last post and I have lost all my old post during updating WP. I just just too stupid at that time and lost a lot of my blogging energy during this time. But now I am back with new power and a new goal. As some of you may know this blog was and it´s going to be all about losing some weight.

My goal:

1 want to lose 1kg = 2.2 pounds per week

And I want to do this till the 5Th of September. My good friend is going to marry that day and I want to be in good shape. Today my scale told me I have 146.0 kg = 321,87 lbs. If everything is going to work well I will have 122kg = 268,93 lbs in the end.

I know it`s a long way to go but this time I am really motivated. I am going to update this blog updated at least once a week to let you know how things are working.
